An excursion full of culture and adventure.
Saklikent, the Hidden Valley is a natural wonder formed over the centuries by the melting snow.
The gorge which is 14km in length is entered on a wooden walkway fastened to the rocks above the fast flowing river of clear but cold water that you walk through.
After exploring about 4km of the canyon you will have lunch in a local restaurant that serves fresh trout of a selection of kebabs.
From the restaurant you will go to Tlos, the oldest of the Lycian cities perched high in the hills above the Xanthos plain affording spectacular views.
The Lycian inscriptions indicate the settle-ment was known as Tlawa and home to Pegasus the legendary winged horseman.
From Tilos it is about a 1 hour drive back, getting into Dalyan around 7 pm.
