You will see signs for Dalyan.
Turn left at the roundabout into Ataturk Bulvari, this road leads you into Dalyan Center.
The journey should take you about 30 minutes.
The town is located on the Dalyan river fed by the local mountain streams that converge on the Koycegiz lake. Locals and tourists alike can enjoy the natural Mud Baths and Thermal Springs at the side of the lake, then meander through the maze of reed beds, passing the ancient Rock Tombs carved into the side of the mountain 3000 years ago. The river opens onto the beautiful Iztuzu Beach, better known as Turtle Beach - home to the endangered Loggerhead turtle as well as many birds. Dalyan is a place that has something for everyone, no matter the age; from doing nothing but relaxing to white water rafting or sea kayaking, to lazy boat trips along the coast, stopping to snorkel and eat. It is a good place for the children/teenagers in your family: they can enjoy a greater degree of independence from adults without getting into trouble. It is by and large a very safe place and the locals are friendly and trustworthy. This wonderful un-spoilt corner of Turkey is the perfect place to enjoy the relaxing and exotic culture of this country. Dalyan and its people are so incredibly friendly, you will probably never want to leave.
The small town of Dalyan has a wonderful location on a river which connects a large inland lake to the Mediterranean Sea. Iztusu Beach offers 6km of white sand, safe swimming, and no crowds. This is a conservation area so there are no beach front developments. You can reach the beach by boat or by bus, both are great experiences.
