Dalyan is a perfect place built on the canals that connect Lake Köyceğiz with the Mediterranean, visited by local and foreign tourists every year with its unique nature, and hosting thousands of years old king tombs.

If you would like to get to know the surroundings during your holiday, we have compiled some activities to do in Dalyan for you;

Iztuzu Beach;

It is possible to reach the world-famous Iztuzu Beach, which is 4.5 km long, in two ways. The first option is; by minibuses departing from Dalyan center or by a short 12-kilometer journey with your own vehicle. You can reach this unique beach, which is the nesting area of the protected caretta carettas. In this part of the beach, you can find turtles. There is a hospital where the treatment is performed. While you are on the road, do not forget to watch the Sülüngür Lake on your right. The second option is a pleasant journey with minibus boats departing from Dalyan center, which takes about 40 minutes and you will not get enough of watching the perfect nature of Dalyan. In the first minutes of the journey, you will take you to 2400 meters. You will meet the annual king tombs, and loggerheads and Nile turtles will accompany you as you move through the folds of the Dalyan Delta, one of the most important reed regions of Turkey.

On both beaches, you can eat, use showers, toilets, and rent sun loungers and umbrellas at the facilities run by the municipality.

In order not to disturb the turtles, Iztuzu Beach is closed between 20.00 in the evening and 08.00 in the morning between May and September.

Asi Bay;

You can only reach this quiet bay between Sarıgerme and Iztuzu beaches, 22 km away from Dalyan center, with your private car.

Kargicak Bay;

It is a bay located between Sarıgerme Iztuzu, like Aşı Bay, 15 km away from the center, preferred by few people because the road is winding, and has a private business.

Kaunos Ancient City;

To reach the Kaunos Ancient City, located within the borders of Çandır, you can cross from Dalyan to Çandır by ferry or boat, and after walking for a while, you can enjoy the history.

Sultaniye Thermal Springs;

B.C. It is possible to reach Sultaniye Thermal Springs, famous for its healing waters, which are known to have been used by the people of Caunos in the 100s, by ferry from Dalyan.

Yuvarlakcay;

If you want to cool off in restaurants located around ice-cold water on hot summer days, Yuvarlakçay within the borders of Köyceğiz, 30 km away from Dalyan by road, will be a good choice.
